Spring

Spring

A Poem by Barbara Walker

Many shades of green,

in striking hues,

flowers blazing forth

in dazzling shades of

golds, reds and blues.

The breeze tickling my face,

sun staying up longer

in the sky.

Bird's singing louder and longer.

I love you, Spring,

that's why.

lovely, sweet and pastel barabra, poetry that sets the readers heart adrift,
floating on springtime clouds, i love how your words create an environment for the
readers thoughts to rest at bay, its peaceful, and beautifully envisioned,
one can feel the sense of encouragemtn in your words, mike

You have just described what's happening here in Ohio right now. Very nice.

Me too. I love Spring. Still waiting for it in Michigan. A very good description for the season of Spring. Warm days of Spring bring alive even the sad in spirit. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Awwwah, this is lovely. Such a sweet write, the imagery was perfect and it made it feel like the reader was there, captured the readers attention.

"The breeze tickling my face,
