Temper Tantrum

Temper Tantrum

A Poem by Barbara Walker

Just as in the temper tantrum of a two year old, flaring,

throwing herself to the floor, legs kicking,

fists pounding in raging frustration,

so the inner me does identify,

as I plead with a universal deity,

Heal me or let me die!

Thank you Tate!
This expresses frustration so well. Sometimes we all feel like becoming a two year old and just throwing a tantrum.

yea
I think tempers are in us all, you keep yours inside and you pen releases it so you don't explode and die... Great write we have to find a way to sooth that raging child in you. holding candy.. I like the pattern and flow of your work here.. nicely done!
