Dimensionless

Dimensionless

A Poem by Barbara Walker

Outside,

amongst the freshly mowed grass

and hot sunshine,

sheets sway on the clothesline.

I immerse my nose in their clean scent.

Whilst I hear the children laugh and play,

I run my fingers through my love's hair.

Within,

desire,

dimensionless.

When I read this, I couldn't help but float. This indeed is a lovely write. You have managed to paint a sweet picture, and you added so much to the senses, from the smell of the clothes hung out to dry, to the strands of hair entwined in your fingers. Very nice.
