Inane Humans

Inane Humans

A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

Observation

"
Moving, across the sky
at speeds that would have made our ancestors,
who once lived in caves, cower in fear
instead,
we put on earphones
to better hear the inane in-flight movie
and ignore being in the midst of clouds, so bright, they sear.

That's what writers are 'bout!
U knw wht, today, being in modernism, it seems like being lost in d belivrmodernismve things. Youth have spoiled things around ev'n d essence of their own customs, no matter what. The poetry that u're quite bled in is what reflecting the truism of ur inner poet hidden deep at d bottom of ur very spirit...

... people enjoy phones but writers might be bewitched with just a piece of paper & pen. However, i belive tec. has already ruined things around but it has blessed the world with creativity as well so in a sense, it all depends what ... what thinking one is seemed to be bewildered around. Very creative thoughts u leave in few simplistic words. Brilliant. Looking forward to reading u!

I think our ancestors would be in all of the changes ,at the same time they would probably preach warnings to all of humanity for all of the good comes with a price. Excellent write!

Thank you so much!
This piece makes me chuckle in face of the blatant reality of what your thought provoking words have to share an say ... Our ancestors would have stood in awe, while we take so much for granted in our busy technological world that has left the simplicity of a quiet life behind ... A mistake, I believe ... Very enjoyable piece ...

You're most welcome my friend
Jean Baudrilliard's "America" is a book you should read if you already have not.

He writes about the salt flats and speed records in an abstract way... the whole ancient juxtaposition with modernity. The reasons we came up with to do these things and such.

You do realize your profile picture is borderline pedophile porn? You're creepy lady.
