I wrote this poem for my granddaughter, Hannah @2015
Formerly, a child, who didn't seem to know that you had a physical beauty that the world values so. Out of their own insecurities, others put you down and you took their words into your head and it caused your heart to frown. Now, I am privileged to watch you come into your own, as you become aware- You are a person of worth, a young woman of warmth, compassion and care. One who will guard the underdog and fight, do whatever it takes when you think you are in the right. In this big world, not everyone will know who you are or what you've done, but the people who matter will see, the physical you is pretty, but the inner Hannah is a person of beauty.
A positive and beautiful poem.
"the physical you is pretty,
but the inner Hannah is a person of beauty."
Inner beauty last forever. Thank you dear Barbara for sharing the excellent poetry.
