Feel Free

Feel Free

A Poem by Barbara Walker

Feel free,
oh, be free,
as free as you can be.
Free of all earthly
problems and strife,
free to revel
in your spiritual life.
Be free of turmoil,
sadness and woes,
take in the richness
that only heaven knows.
See all the heavenly,
golden light,
where all the negative
is banned from your sight.
Wrap yourself
in God given health,
which is far richer
than any earthly wealth.

I like the title feel free as opposed to be free but perhaps you chose the other way around to emphasize to be free..it reads smoothly from start to finish with a beautiful rhyme and rhythmic melody..Two Thumbs Up! Love spiritual poems and yours made my day!

Thank you, Mauricio!
Predominantly for the most part, only human beings possess the ability and curse of worry ... In some instances animals do exhibit this trait, but humans have mastered it to the degree of over thinking everything in our lives, while spending our days, our time, our thoughts, in doing all we can to be free, when in fact we, ourselves, have enslaved ourselves within the deep recesses of our own minds, taken prisoner by worry over things that we possess no power to do anything about ... Sounds like great words of wisdom doesn't it? ... Yet, I am just as powerless as any other individual upon this planet ... In fact, I worry more than most, and live free less than more than most, but this fact does not change the truth that a worry free life brings to us nothing less than freedom to live for as long as life will allow us ... Good thoughts that are very contemplative and thought provoking ...

What aa poem of rejoicing. If we can really take this advice to heart, we will be free.

Wonderful lines of encouragement. Greatly enjoyed.
