Setting You Free

Setting You Free

A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

Spreading my sister's ashes

"
Setting you free,
so you can be,
one with nature,
one with the wind,
one with the bower
and especially,
one with the sunflower.

This isn't good-bye,
it's just
see ya' later.

I have spread my dear Grandmother ashes once. She wanted her home state. The poem had a tone of accepting and sadness. Good to spread the ashes with the sunflowers. Give us places to remember missed places and faces. Thank you dear Poet for sharing your amazing poetry.
