Rearranged

Rearranged

A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

Not talking about furniture here...

"
I am in a stew,
all because of you...
suddenly, you've changed,
totally rearranged...
what is going on in your mind,
I'm getting contradictory signs.
This is all coming out of the blue,
no warning, not one little clue.
You've pulled the rug from under me, so fast:
I thought ours was a love that would last.

I am so angry, that you would throw us aside,
I feel I've been taken for a ride
and no matter what you do,
I can never feel the same for you,
so now, we are changed,
rearranged...and what makes me cry?
You don't even know why.

Thank you very much!
"rearranged...and what makes me cry?
You don't even know why."
I don't like change. Leave us wondering why? I like the thoughts in the poem. The ending is true. Last thing we will know is sadness. Always good to read your poetry my friend. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
