December 27, 2013 RIP Beloved Twin

A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

My twin sister passed away December 27,2013. She was a class act.

"
And now,
nothing...
days, nights and hours,
talking, laughing,
until you could not speak or laugh
and then, for hours,
I held your hand.
As your breathes softened,
I willed you to breath
with my touch,
until it felt like my touch
was the only reason for your breath.

And then,
that slight little tick of each breath,
that was torture to hear
and I begged,
if there is a God,
please, give her peace.

I, so hope you are at peace.
For me, now,
nothing...

Painfully poignant, so sorry for your loss Barbara. I know what it feels like to lose a sister, a great tribute in her honor. I so get this...........
