My poetic response when I saw my request list

I have 106 read requests,

how's a woman to get any rest?

If your work is on my list,

I'm afraid I must insist,

please, give me a break,

have pity for my sake!

My head feels like it will explode,

help me, help me, lessen the load.

Verbs are flying out of my head,

nouns and adjectives cover my bed,

imagery flashes before my eyes,

please, listen to my cries.

Please, don't add to the pile-

106 is going to take me awhile!

Hahah clever poem, I have a ton too, and being sick doesn't help, but you just take them one at a time, we're all in the same boat, especially if you're a friend of docs, he's like a funny machine! ;-)
