Don't tell me you love me,

just look into my eyes,

because truth is always there,

you cannot blink away the lies.

Yes, it's true, Barbara, it isn't possible to "blink away the lies". A very insightful poem that was greatly enjoyed. It is so short and honest that you read it again and again. And the message is very plain and immediately sinks into the heart.
