Lost In A Daze Of Confusion

Lost In A Daze Of Confusion

A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

When you think all is fine in a relationship and suddenly, it's not.

"
I'm lost in a daze of confusion,
suddenly, your positive attitude is gone.
I guess I was living an illusion,
of a special, solid bond.

It is obvious somethings upset you,
why can't you be open with me?
I want us to feel free in all that we do,
with true love, that's the way it should be.

I would like to lay it on the line,
talk it out, find a solution, compromise.
Nothing, but resentment, comes from lies;
why waste time, like a child who whines?

Loving someone,
does not make you read minds,
when all is said and done,
words...are the ties that bind.

So, don't keep it inside,
please, share it with me,
open your mouth wide
and let the words flow free

Life is so short, there is no time,
to waste on anger and sadness.
I am yours and you are mine;
I want ours to be a life of happiness..
