ArduousA Poem by K.P.H.Madjective; involving or requiring strenuous effort; difficult and tiringHold me down, And stare at me, Through this frozen ground, That grew, when you weren’t around. To make this fight worth it now, So I had to break, All the way down, To make my scream that loud. You torch my scared ground, And pummelled the flower that grew, In spite of you. Your presence hurts, Everything you do, And I mean, That’s the truth, The icicles in your veins are proof.
Which is worse, Because though I despise it, And we are unfit, I miss how you made me want to submit, And pursue, How you overthrew, Everything I thought I knew, Breaking me through my crackled glue. But for both of sakes, We must evacuate, So we can acclimate, To a world without each other, Rather than constantly remain undercover. © 2022 K.P.H.M |
