A girl's homeA Poem by EyesFullOfHope
She loves with all her heart
cares with all her soul But its not her home They say she is made for another She has to fly out leaving all behind For another shelter Where lives another family closely knit together While they judge her and mold her And teach her their ways She has to love them as her own In the blink of an eye She spends her life to blend in Gives every breath of her life to prove her worth by making their lives easier She dies fighting for acceptance Proving herself worthy of their love Bleeding to keep all happy Striving to win their trust She thought she made their lives better and she built two homes But she was a girl She had no homes but shelters They thought they did her a favor All she did was what she owed them In return for their kindness They thought it was her duty It was her who was kind and loving They had houses She turned them to homes Yet she had no home for she was a girl © 2016 EyesFullOfHope |
