I'm Leaving For You

I'm Leaving For You

A Poem by expr3444

You are the moon and the stars
The look in your eyes better find its way into me
Be the star you, know you are
I want the moon and the stars
The look in your eyes better find its way into me
This is only for now
But I'm not so sure.
The smell of the matches
The weight of this floor
The way that your hair says
"You don't need me anymore."
Oh I'm alone if I know it
I'm alone if I show it
I lose some battles but win out of war
'Cause tears are selfish and you aren't anymore
Go get your ribbon box
Go get your wounded heart
No to your letters love
No to unsturdy hands
Sleeping eyes
I'm told they never lie if I wanted to stay
You won't stand in my way
But I'm choosing to leave
With your heart on my sleeve
It feels too good without you
And you can't understand
How im leaving for you
how this is for you
