The Darkness
I am one of them, the infamous
I want my vision imposed
For I am righteous
You will know me
Your will, knows only mine
You will serve only me
Steeped in fetid blood
Revere me, fear me
Or die by me
I don’t care
What the world thinks
Nations censure, sanction
Salvos of the elected powerful sink
Powerless to stop me, my faction
My mayhem, my wrath
Your brotherhood withers near me
Hubris fallen angel, I seek no other path
I am harm’s way
I don’t care
About this life, kindness is weakness
Ostentatious rulers, wealth, men of war
suffer my rabid arrogance,
Shattered water, I cascade into darkness’ towers
Selfless is useless
Of my god, Erebus spawns me
You cannot see, blindness, bereft, bereaved
You follow
Chained to Milton’s burning lakes,
Inhumanity, I wield ethnic cleansing
Opposition eradication, my thirst never slakes
Indifferent suffering, to me, pleasing
I am the four horsemen
None spared,
Feeble angels beseeched for hope’s keep
Futile, forlorn, forgotten
I don’t care
