Scars

Scars

A Poem by Ruby

In the quiet shadows where pain resides,
A soul, silent, in its own divides.
In the canvas of flesh, a story told,
Of struggles deep, of battles bold.

A dance with demons, a silent war,
Scars unseen, on a canvas sore.
In the hushed whispers of a wounded heart,
A struggle unfolds, tearing apart.

Each cut, a plea in the language unsaid,
A cry for help, a soul misled.
In the darkness, where secrets keep,
A fragile spirit, in shadows, weeps.

Yet in the heartache, a strength persists,
A resilience, though the soul insists.
Through the storms of internal strife,
A yearning for a gentler life.

Oh, tender soul, in the throes of despair,
Know that compassion lingers in the air.
Reach out to the light, let it in,
For healing begins from deep within.

In the tapestry of pain, a thread of hope,
A lifeline when it's hard to cope.
Let the scars be a map of the past,
But not the anchor that holds you fast.

For in the struggle, a beauty may rise,
A spirit awakening, opening eyes.
To the possibility of a brighter day,
Where shadows fade and hope holds sway.

Let kindness be the balm you find,
A soothing touch for the wounded mind.
And as you navigate the stormy sea,
May love and healing set you free.
