Surviving depression, a promise to keep.

A storm within, with thunderous roars,

Yet within the tempest, a spirit soars.

Beneath the weight of the leaden sky,

A glimmer of hope refuses to die.

Through the labyrinth of despair's embrace,

A resilient heart finds a sacred space.

Battles fought in the silence within,

Surviving the tempest, where healing begins.

The echoes of sorrow, a haunting song,

Yet the melody shifts, a symphony strong.

In the quiet struggle of the mind's terrain,

Surviving depression, breaking the chain.

Like a phoenix rising from ashes cold,

A spirit reborn, resilient and bold.

In the fractured pieces, strength is found,

Survival's anthem, a resilient sound.

Each dawn that breaks, a victory won,

Against the shadows, against the undone.

Scars may linger, but they don't define,

I really liked the spirit of this one. I have known many people who had to deal with depression, and they all would have benefitted from reading something like this.
