Break

Snap and fall

You’re heavy with blood that was drawn

Crack

Rip

Tear and breathe

My life is draining

Why must you tease?

These broken lies

Those whispered words

I feel your touch

The blade is curved

Razors bend around my waist

A heart beating faster

Dressings unlaced

With scars adorned

And bleeding screams

You draw that knife

Will it just be a dream?

The blood will fall off

The blade will run down

The tears those will shed shall be wasted

A question of nothing

An answer forever waiting

You’re dying as I scream

We’re falling through the cracks

The disease is spreading

They’ll never take us back

Rip the flesh away

Show them your bones

It’s what the world wants to know

Truth never told

What can I give?

When will they stop?

No more heart that lives

Answers not received

Cuts go deeper through  

Bones crack and burn

Blood running dry

Fat dripping smooth

We’re no longer touched

They’ll hold us back

The nothings we are

Their tears are worthless to us

Take your nails

Rip them clean

Grind them ‘til they’re gone

Pieces fly into your eyes

Your corneas melt to pools

For all these days I die some more

Those lives of yours are wasted

As we all fall to that disease

Our lives will cease to move

Falling faster

Sleeping longer

Death is drawing near

The world is ending

Our tears are drying

Life fades quickly to nothing

Really nice! I enjoyed your awesome imagery! I have to pry what this poem is exactly about. I sensed either war or animal slaughtering, but I'm sure I'm wrong. Excellent poem. :)
