There is something shining in my heart
Awakened after months apart
Remembrances of a love once denied
Collided when you returned to my side

I feel you spinning in my soul
Your presence too precious to behold
Beauty is spiraling through my blood cells
And I am enraptured under your spell

When lips caress lips and bodies embrace
Heartbreak dissipates without a trace
Comfort and passion linger instead
And you are the only voice inside my head

To the one to whom my heart now belongs
I am here, although it has taken me long
Forgive me, for I was too blind to see
That you are everything to me

Wow. Definitely wasn't expecting this when I first glanced at this poem. This was a very impressive write. Your vivid poetic expression puts a good feeling on me as I'm reading this. Very romantic in the third stanza, and a great rhyme scheme here. Love this.
