SilenceA Poem by Jessicadfgd
can you hear my cries thrown out to the air?
do you taste the whispers pleading in your ear? has my voice lost its rhythm, its clarity, its easily perceived passion? what has my heart become to your fickle soul? am i a guardian, a ghost, a once tread path now buried silently in the snow? do your eyes feel the tears hoarded by mine? will you ever accept that they spill over? from time to time, my mind will wonder do your lips long for unity, but now with another? do you feel the fractures of my limbs, the tingle down my spine, the seizures of my soul? do you know that my body heats with each word left unspoken? the recurring nighttime fevers, the fear of empty space, in absence of sound and sight, do you know who i am? numb to my love, senseless to my touch, has the gate not closed? and behind this wall, can you feel me at all? © 2010 JessicaReviews
