Venus Fly Trap

Venus Fly Trap

A Poem by Jessica

He leads me into a malicious fortress
Tempting me with his luscious leaves of evergreen
The Venus Fly Trap has no rules in his games of conquest
He can swallow me whole, but he is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen

His flowers glisten in the sunlight
Concealing his fangs beneath the innocent petals
His lies are so perfect that I don't even feel their bite
As he devours my heart little by little

Venus Fly Trap, why must you always entice,
Leading me into your manipulative maze?
The butterflies weep at the sight of my sacrifice
While I am petrified by your deceitful gaze

His poisonous nectar draws me in
And I lay helpless in his piercing embrace
My body is victim to his seduction, the torture begins
And my heart and soul disappear without a trace

Dayuummm.
Woman, you, have a very twisted mind.
I got the most randomest thoughts from reading this,
I'll tell you about it tomorrow..
Or by the time you read this, today. xD
