The stars sing to my gaze

But my gaze lost from the start

In wonder, amazed

I am here

Cool water meets my lips

Cool thoughts in my mind

Warm life that slips

Within thought beauty blinds

I am here

And in this calm of mine

My worries and bitter thoughts ease

Perhaps now I may find

Peace…

Where is here?

It's finally happened. The legal wall has fallen on digital publishing of my works. This is one of the 70 poems from my book "A Winter Walk," please let me know what you think. I'll post a couple others tonight I'd love to get your opinion. This poem specifically has one 1 contest but is a commonly accepted favorite among my peers.

i liked this one however I thought the last line was a bit cheesy and expected. Nonetheless I did enjoy the stanzas and the "I am here" parts. I don't know why but the last line bothers me a little however this is your poem and you continued your chain of epic poems.
