A Glimpse of Julian Dombrowski at Age Fifteen

I was parked near the Co-Op on Fourth Ave while my passenger went in briefly

I noticed Julian Dombrowski arrive a few doors down with another boy about his age

The other boy had dreadlocks and a skateboard

He stood on the board and swayed it to and fro

Julian matched the action with his electric wheelchair back and forth

Then he turned his wheelchair in a small circle

and the skateboard friend pretty much matched the move

then the skateboarder did something like a pirouette

and Julian seemed to spin his wheelchair in place on one rear wheel

then it looked like all four wheels were actually off the ground

Oh My God, was that really a daredevil stunt

or did it just look like that

this was during school hours

other people were now blocking my view

I'm not going to tell his mother
