The Crime Uncovered

The Crime Uncovered

A Poem by Evyn Rubin
"

New haikus about an old story

"

No smoke from chimney

his neighbor was observant

perpetrators caught

Was August cold there?

the fire was to do laundry

to heat the water

Tom Quong Kee was called

"aged Chinese laundryman"

in news of his death

Thanks to his neighbor

two suspects apprehended

killer and helper

These are Haiku, but they are not coming up with that format on my page. Maybe or maybe not they retained that format on yours.
