An Affirmation and a Visualization

affirmation:

 

i am a person who enjoys fixing my problems

 

 

visualization:

 

if I slide into the pit of despair, I have something to rescue  myself from there

i have an imaginary pebble in my pocket. I drop it

and it descends to the bottom of the pit, while i do not

 

from the pebble emerges a functional ladder

which soon grows its way up the side of the pit

I climb the ladder, and pull myself out,

 

I'm out of the pit

I pull the ladder up after me

it disappears into the pebble

I put the pebble back into my pocket

to use as needed another day

 

I do this visualization slowly embellishing details

at least that is my plan I hope I can remember

 

I was so happy the other day

because I had put a problem onto the path of fixing

I had become a pebble

who generates my own little ladder

 

for a couple days, I couldn't have been gladder
