so it is time to unwind As the sunset begins to appear we strolled with our shadows left behind The path we chose was self-reflective in nature as our steps deepened in sand we smiled at each others behavior as we locked our hands To my lady, I repeated a question I've always asked Is this the life you seek? As she smirked, she remembered our past while I laid her down to kiss in the sandy sheets
