"The Pleasant Walk"

"The Pleasant Walk"

A Poem by Thepensiveplayer
"

"Sometimes its alright to ignite passion from a great sight"

"
The end of the day is near
so it is time to unwind
As the sunset begins to appear
we strolled with our shadows left behind
The path we chose was self-reflective in nature
as our steps deepened in sand
we smiled at each others behavior
as we locked our hands
To my lady, I repeated a question I've always asked
Is this the life you seek?
As she smirked, she remembered our past
while I laid her down to kiss in the sandy sheets
