Auld EeyohA Poem by yellow devilAnd I quote, "Got a twisted sense of humour, it's warped, but I didn't hit you. I think you're finally starting to get the picture, I'm...". It was sourced from an album I found inspiration in from another song. Once again, I quote, "Music is my time machine, so call me". And the second one is on constant repeat on my stupid iPod. A musing from an amusing muse. If my body could ever translate the sounds to movement, that would be a constant also. Not that I'm not all fidgety and s**t anyways, I'm just saying...you know, it would look less retarded. Music is one of the only things I really have left in the world. Thankfully, due to my shift, I can listen to my own music while working. It's reminding me of my memories while I am driving. It's the one companion that only changes when I choose it to. The first song was one I listened to a lot while writing. It was a repeating background noise that soothed a part of my soul that I keep as far from every person I can. Surprises come out of nowhere. This comet of a soul changed my world. Whereas in the past people believed that comets were omens from the gods, this person was no omen, she is a celestial body of understanding and compassion. And my world she changed. It leads me to believe that life is fated, not chosen paths. She has what she has, and I am what I am. I wouldn't change a thing except the parts where she was hurt in any form. © 2013 yellow devilFeatured Review
