Life is Like a Train

A Poem by my evil twin

Life is like a train going nonstop coast to coast
Not a contest to see who can gather the most
Your stuck on the same rails to finish from start
A lifelong marathon always testing your heart

Your stuck moving forward so full steam ahead
Live life to the fullest until you are dead
Somewhere ahead is the end of the line
With nothing you can do even if you see the sign

Life is a train that can move only one way
There are no go-backs whatever you say
Forward into the future never look back
Cause this train does a reverse lack

And you cant go back how ever hard you try
So once your past it let it lie
Or is it lay? well any way,
Tomorrow is another day

So shovel in more coal and push every limit
The red line's exciting no one will deny it
And live each and ever day as if it's your last
Forward into the future and forget the past
