RipplesA Poem by furciferousThere are some who rise high and fall fast, and there are some who slip under the radar.
These stones we throw
Fall heavy and hard A huge, spontaneous hype Creating waves, disturbances That we watch until they are Gone Dew past noon; There and then not The shape of a cloud Evanescent Barely a breach in the fabric of the world Those huge slabs of granite Splash big and sink fast While the little pebbles Skim the top © 2011 furciferous |
