Me, the Night & the Sleeping Soul

Me, the Night & the Sleeping Soul

A Poem by Eve Ola

Me, the Night & the Sleeping Soul

Its a time when you are sleeping
While I am there keep talking..
You are lost in your dreamy world
Do you know what I am talking about?
You see, I always praise you and your love
But at night, the praising is between..
Me, the night and the sleeping soul
For me this combination is enough..
The praising this time is even more pure
I love you a lot and only HE knows for sure..
Keeping my eyes on your closed eyes
Pulling your hairs soft like baby
You are my child, to whom I give all my smile
You are my man, to whom I share all
Daytime routine and hidden thoughts
Funny happenings and sad thoughts
My all smiles and all woes
For all that you are always there..
You are perfectly created for me because
Only you can handle me amazingly
You are my companion you are my bestie
You are everything to me and
I do, because I always want
You Me and our pleasing company..
I don't want to end this moment but
When I am done with my talks,
I can't realize when I lost in dreams too
And you know what?
Whenever I opened my eyes midnight
The only thing on my lips,
I love you and I will always do
May Allah protect this relation
Ameen!!

Beautiful and powerful words my friend.
"I love you and I will always do
May Allah protect this relation"
I like the internal thoughts and perfect ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Ameen! Insha allah this relationship will grow by time and never end. The characters in this poem remind me of Dickinson's "Because I could not stop for Death" where the characters were the poet, death and immortality. Very personal and raw piece. Also, a novel way to potray love. Well done.

Deep verses like this deserve deep reviews. You're welcome.
I'm not too sure if I am a huge fan of how it flows. I would suggest rewriting this because it has a lot of potential!

sure Thanks :)
There is always beauty to be found in relationships. And when you are in-tune with someone it seems to deliver this sparkling melody unlike a quick fix or a good bottle of anything that would elevate you into a state. Relationships deliver a more steady and not so evenly distributed amount of will. As I read through I could sense that and also the obvious fact that you are greatful to your divinity for having giving you the opportunity. This is only my personal opinion based on the fact that i am a little obtuse and nerdy so take as you may. Amen as a translation into English will come close to "so be it" and I pray and prey in trying not to show any signs of any particular faith as it causes division.

The intention behind your words seems the right one though

Thankyou

Thanks for the feedback Rene
A nice write. A few minor grammar errors, assuming these are due to translation issues. If you like, I can correct.

Well, that is very classless. I only won't help someone if they refuse help.
