Life is Still Very Dear

Life is Still Very Dear

A Poem by Eve Ola

Life is Still Very Dear

My days are distressing and nights are hard
My life seems like a darker graveyard

My life is coming, with cunning tricks
Moving my life with mix bricks

I love people a lot, living around me
But still my 'life show' is cruel as you see

Who will stop this running show?
I want to stop all but don't know how?

Against all these demons, life is still very Dear
That my loved ones told me very clear

I have questions to my life as well
You have to answer all as you know well

So, Should I ask for more life colors?
Or someone remove my life dusty covers?

Should I ask for more forward tabs?
As, I want to skip this rubbish that tightly grabs

Should I ask for glowing more at peaks?
Or again life ignores all what I speaks?

I know things come true around
When you are moving around

When you are there in front of me
I am glowing more high as you see

When I am sad and dead down inside
You are there putting them aside

When cruelty surrounds and put me down
I see you there with your magic gown

And this firms my believe that, Life is still very Dear
That my loved ones told me very clear

So everything comes with hooks crooks
You have to live life with all its looks

You have colors too there in your way
May your love or family bringing your way

But with all its colors Life is still very Dear
That my loved ones told me very clear

Even when life is not so great it is still a gift that we should be thankful that we have.A very inspiring pen Eve ;-)

I enjoyed the couplets, I don't see that rhyme scheme quite as often as some of the other ones. I liked the confusion in this. Life is hard, yes, but there is always something to look forward to and live for. Well said.

Thanks Rachel :)
The important part of life is accepting, accept and move ahead, just don't hang for too long.

very practical in thoughts and that's great
Its not bad. The message you're trying to convey is understood. Keep writing. After all, it's about what you think and feel, not others

Our struggles can bring us to the deepest depths. I have been there many times. Writing about it has been cathartic for me.

It is easy at times to find melodic rhyme not easy to make it hold its tone I try to avoid it becuase it will cut both ways. When yeilded correctly it sings an enchanting melody when yielded ferociously it can cut the very essence of what you where trying to behold minimising, taking back from the meaning of the words. Like the wissling of a clown attempting to be funny yet it succeeds at been scary.

I like the meaning behind the words the rhyme not so much.

Thankyou

The couplets do tell clearly that Life is still dear.. o yea the message was crystal clear that when you are in a gloomy mood your loved ones hold your hand. Then you realise no matter what you need to live it up. Nicely penned

Ah, I think this is very nice in its simple, straight forward tone. One thing, you should have puts instead of put for puts me down.
