Colors of Nature

Colors of Nature

A Poem by Eve Ola

Colors of Nature

Cold morning with foggy way
As moving in this blurry way
Calmness exists through my way
I stopped my journey for this play
Want to feel this foggy cold
With autumny effect sides behold
Crispy leaves laying down
Roasted leaves falling down
Surrounded by flowery valley
Colorful petals with amazing gallery
Moving my nose close to layers
Smelling them like nature players
Looking around with profound
With stealing thought seeing around
I want to pluck this Red Rose, because
I always dreams in my thoughts
Passing time with flowery surrounding
Falling droplets at this grounding
I screamed, Its Rain Rain
Lifting my face up and refrained
Rain dip dips on my face
Wetty feet and grassy place
With red rose in my hands
I want to pause with longer stand
Bare foots on grassy land
Dipping soaking as I be
Quickly moving under the tree
Pulling bushes for more rainy gee
Oh Dear moment!
I always want you through my way
Will you stay long, for this day?

Beautiful description and very nice rhyming but I dont know why this piece seems rushed to me. Stil, nice job.

Great imagery as well as description of the other senses as well in here. I love when smell is brought into poetry, it exercises the brain and makes you imagine more.

thanks for the read Emma
At times it takes me by surprise some of us can't write prose to save our lives even when trying. Some of us want to write poetry because it allows the concept behind to roam free from the contructs of linear sequence. So why would then? Blurry way seem to want to find another way again when there was a way there to begin with? Two sameness cannot coexsist in space and time (so would physics recommend) so the use of same words in a repetitive "way" must assume intentionality and it causes break when reading. The most mysterious of things is that you seem to have conciously decided to use that within the context of freeing but it came to me as an encarceration of sorts. And as I edit this to satisfy all manners of ammusing emotions I hope my stupidity is not taken as an insult but rather as light humour.

Thankyou for your invite!
