Twelve Football Fields LongA Poem by Evan Applebauma walk in the park
A symphony of sights and an treasure trove of sounds. But, none were gold. For I felt the world had opened up and dragged me down into the abyss. Time was infinite and I couldn't understand what I had done to deserve this damn brought unto me by God. The screams were nothing I could oppress and its as if they were speaking to my sole. Then, i lifted my skull and was swarmed by the toucan and the frog. I will never forget those faces. The features to disturbing for one to bare; nothing able to unsee or unfeel.
