Liberation!

 

Down these city streets, he walks,

With a watchful eye,

The eye of Mara, the Tempter.

 

Mara's gonna fool you into thinking this is real

Mara's gonna make you that this is the right way,

All of this circumstantial death-

 

      His laughter echoes off of these buildings.

 

Mara's gonna make you money,

Gonna wrap you in silk,

Gonna give you a good guy badge

To where over your heart.

 

Mara's gonna soothingly say "it's okay"

When you start to regret and

Mara will drink your tears as fast as they

Fall into his cup.

 

Mara's gonna make you all the same,

Take your names, cram you into a cheap frame

Where life is easy and easier

      To control.

Liberation!

 

The Revolution is here!

Doubt not, friend, anymore, for

The power has returned to you as 

Promised by the men of old who

Gave away knowledge away freely.

 

The Revolution is here!

 

Listen to the voice in your head,

Neither alive nor dead,

That sings to you of

 

                                 Reality-

 

Fight the comfortable illusion which seeks

To steal your life for your soul is

Inherently

 

                                Free.

Tearing at truth with crooked claws

And blindfolding your people with lies

Trying so hard to be true-

 

Awake!

 

The Revolution, your liberation is here!

Open your eyes to your gray and strangled world

Where even now fools drunk with power

Seek to rule your senses and, thus,

To rule your reality...

 

                              ...But Mara has only this

                              To keep you from bliss,

 

      We have Every One

      A revolution of the Sun.
