Empty Road.

Empty Road.

A Poem by Mackenzie

drunk.

I can't keep my eyes open.

It's dark in this room.

Hailey is here. But she speaks not a word.

And the silence, it's making me numb.

People are slaming, my back door. And I dream of more trantula, friends call for hailey, but she does not go.

I am typing this poem, on an empty road.

I was way too drunk when I wrote this, haha!

This gives off a lonely feeling, but I wonder, how much of it is inebriation, and how much is you?
