Morning

Morning

A Poem by Ella Emergency
"

Well, i worote this over the summer, when I was with John. We had fun, but it didn't work out. But here it is anyway.

"

Sharing a small bed

We rolled around all night
I tried to annoy you into
Consciousness
I missed you when I was asleep
And I couldn’t stand it so
I stayed awake to watch you
Waited for the dawn
So I could wake you up
I watched you dream
Did you dream of me?
Got the butterflies when I saw your eyes
Twitch Beneath your lids
Listened to your perfect heartbeat
The sun came just for you
To greet you in the morning
I wanted to wake up next to you
But I never slept
I want to do this for the rest of my life
I love you more.
