Plateau

Plateau

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts
"

Another by-product of stolen moments.

"

No longer feeding you attention
You writhe around
Obvious discomfort enters
Attempts to belittle
Bemuse and dissuade
Delusionally grand in your frivolity
Poor tortured soul
THINKING you are better
Yet, not BEING who you ARE in this world.
Bemusing the driver
While traveling down the road
Untoward angst riddled pain
Never developing,
Plateauing,
Rotting Soul
Caused by torturous selfishness
ALONE and LOST in this world
Never rising above it
Souring each life he touches.
