Girl No. 2

Girl No. 2

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts
"

I think it funny how people tend to not think about actions causing reactions.

"

Calling you wasn't easy

I guess you know that's true

Just wanting to hear your voice

Not knowing what else to do

Needing to know you are happy

Last time we spoke

Unhappiness had settled in your soul

Did you really marry her?

She seems to be a snot

Knowing she probably loves you

For this, I am quite glad

Not hearing from you for two years

This, made me quite mad

Understanding your discomfort

To let you know, I was, too.

If you never cared about me

Why did you keep coming back?

Was it attraction or distraction?

The easiness of it all?

I know that can't be true

Hoping life treats you well

Only the best for you

And if you ever need someone

Go and call girl No. 2

Wow, that's pretty good for 15 years ago, huh? Did venting your emotions thru the pen just come easy to you, or did you WANT to do it and you did?

I'll be peeking into your stash to see how you've grown....
