Amy and Tom

Amy and Tom

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts
"

My good friend Amy is marrying the love of her life on Monday June 10, 2008;this was their wedding gift; it's all I could afford.

"

He captivated her through words on the page

She was enthralled by his musings

Eagerly they found pure pleasure

Undying devotion

Finding pleasure in each other

All Roads led to them

Roads long travelled

Weary and broken

Downtrodden

Blessed by the "space" between

Longing for each other

Two souls meant to be

Wandering

Until they found each other

Inviting nothing but pure joy

Love, actually

She espoused it right there on the page

He wholeheartedly replied

Yes, Yes, Yes

Lifting each other

Wholehearted embrace.

Gladness at the delight of each other
