Strangled

Strangled

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts

Numbness caused by pain

Relentless pain

Strangling my soul

Strangling my words

Pushing me down

Gnashing my teeth

Bloodied, torn, broken

My soul aches for kindness

God, please send me an angel.

This is a rail against life? Even I'm feeling your pain here, Euni. A lovely poem, does it jive? Hell yes.

I don't know from "jive" but I think it's a very honest and raw cry for kindness, and it touched me.
