I mis-interpret the action of you Misled by the tune Thinking it meant truth Reality facing Is not in your repertoire You made a bargain with the devil And now live in The apathy of the day From dawn to dusk You deny it Never facing truth In one fell swoop A message meant to Shatter my naive image of you I anticipate the end Your skin like porcelain As you lay in the grave Created by the randomness Of your addiction © 2008 Eunice CrankypontsAuthor's Note
