Serenade

Serenade

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts
"

This is the response to a song I heard on the radio the other day.

"

Woeful serenades

Wooing the wicked

Tempting the timid

Simple distractions

Leaving waste

Further complicating

The complicated

Loving from afar

Reaching for a star

Holding on

Patiently

Until the complication

Is no more.
