Choice

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts
"

I was thinking about people who consistently complain about things but never make a move to force change in the world. This is what became of that one thought.

"

Change from within

Acts as a catalyst

Causing Butterflies to move

Swiftly

Flourishing kindness

Causes happiness in this world

Creating your own reality

The world is just a contributor

Circumstance caused by decision

Circumstance does not hold you

Decision does

Don't blame others

Or the Circumstance

Resolve to change

Accept the circumstance

For what it is

Rage against the machine of society

OR

Complacently Complain

Sitting on the fence of your own delusion

These are distinct choices

Sit and rest, wallow in the abyss

OR

Make the decision to change

Change yourself

The perspective from within

Will cause the world around you to change, too.

This is really great. It made me think about the circumstances that I am in myself. Thanks for this.
