Desire

Desire

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts

Staring, ogling, really

Hours wasted

Wanting to talk

Wanting to embrace

Longing and  anticipation

Of it all

Chase filled with ambition

Caught

A sack full of lies

The anticipation of it all

Burns through to my soul

Piercing it's way to my aorta

Bursting through to my stomach

I am constantly nauseated now

Yet, I still find myself

Staring, Ogling, really

Wasting hour after hour

Longing for your touch

Longing for your words

That indelible mark

Left on my soul

Anticipating it

Shoes drop

Shoes  fall

Lies, truths, realization

Fulfilling something within

For but a moment

Embracing through words

On a page

Anticipating tomorrow's kiss

Eagerly awaiting your arrival

I wait

Staring, ogling, really

Not realizing this is

A forbidden desire.

A nice ebbing and receding rhythm, that actually gives one that feeling of desire let loose, held back, and let loose again, back and forth -swaying between giving in, and holding back. A very sensorial impression.
