SkyA Poem by Eunice Crankyponts I was listening to Burt Bacharach's "This Guy is in Love with You" and this was my response The sky is in love with you Even though blue The sky is in love with you Puffy white clouds surrounding sorrow Golden lining reflected by the sun Brightness emerges from the darkness The sun is in love with you The warmth of it's arms wraps around you Somberly you fight it Yet, it finds it's way to your heart Filling it with light Hang on for another day When I can truly say That I am in love with you © 2008 Eunice Crankyponts |
