The Liberation

The Liberation

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts

Liberation

The soulful serenade

To which, I would engage.

Liberation from within

Strength amid weakness

Honesty and kindness

From you, I cannot hide

Wanting  to share with you

Deep wounds

Begin to heal

Loving with every breath

Breathing no longer hurts

Sharing strength through words

No longer hiding

No longer longing

The kindness is there

If you want it.

The liberation I felt

In knowing you

Solace restored

Previously ignored

Presently guarded

Censoring myself

The beauty in the sky

Pleasing to the eye

Blushing at the thought of you

Wishing to be near you

Wanting to touch your hand

Letting you know it's alright

Holding true to the promise

Longing for words

The words that were endless

About
I am chemically imbalanced and therefore this makes me cranky. MY name is not really Eunice, nor am I from the Crankyponts family. Simply put - Pseudonym. I have always enjoyed writing and decided .. more..
