The beginning of a fairytale

The beginning of a fairytale

A Story by Eunice Crankyponts
"

This is truly the beginning of a fairy tale that I started today.

"

I read once that Trolls live in constant fear. They seek refuge in the deep woods and live under trees. Trolls are not cute and cuddly, they are selfish, ugly from the inside out, and have really bad breath.

Well, I am not one to mention names but let this Troll be called Boolie. Boolie the troll likes to drink mead underneath the durian tree. During the fruitful season, he selfishly eats all of the fruit and spits out the seeds.

The fairy queen does not appreciate this because the fruit of the durian tree is precious to her people. She decides to search for the troll and when she does it is not pretty. She strings him up by his toes and let's all of the other  fairies throw musical notes at him.

At first, he is delighted by the attention. After hours of music relentlessly tossed at him, he groans a big groan because the string that the fairy queen used to tie him up seems to give way. He falls from the durian tree and lands with a big KERPLOP.
