Deluded?

Deluded?

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts
"

I am not sure what to entitle this piece. I was toying with the idea of love and it is all stream of consciousness.

"

Prior to today I was loveless and pathetic,
At present, disenchanted
Quite possibly disillusioned
Maybe just maybe disconnected
At least I have not been disemboweled.
Pathetically reflecting on yesterday
Moonlight rising
Beginning of night
Ending of the day
Darkness of night swiftly falling
Consuming the sky
Stars twinkling in the night
What is the sky without stars?
Is it lifeless?
