Non-qualifying

Non-qualifying

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts

I thought we’d be happy
Forever
Together
Unequivocal bliss?
I never qualified
Anger fades away
Yet, the pain is still there.
Reflecting on loss
Lasting scars
Losing way too much
Ever patient
Understanding the disease
Changes albeit slow
Were too slow
Languishing over you
Difficult decision
Loving you
Loving me too much
I must walk away

About
